The Eyecast Cloud Vault service is easily connected to existing DVR based video surveillance systems and sends duplicate video images for storage in the cloud. This insures video is never lost due to DVR outages, damage, improper settings or stolen devices. The video is secure and tamper proof while in the Eyecast Cloud Vault. The backup service is for 1 year and keeps the video stored for the last 45 days.
The service allows you to view live or playback stored video up to 45 days after its captured. The Eyecast Cloud Vault service package includes an Eyecast hardware device called an "encoder" to transmit the video to the cloud. Four (4) analog cameras connected to a DVR can be supported with each Eyecast Cloud Vault service package.
The Eyecast service package comes with all the cables, connectors, and instructions needed to enable the most technically challenged person to hook up the system in minutes. Once installed, the video is automatically sent to the cloud and ready for live viewing and future retrieval from any PC/Mac or iPhone/iPad over the Internet.
Viewing and retrieval of stored video is also easy. Simple commands allow users to export video to an email address or archive video for long term storage in the cloud. Archived video remains with Eyecast so that 3rd party chain of custody is maintained and it can be used for evidentiary purposes in the future.
For customers who wish to backup more than 4 cameras they can order as many service packages as they need. Each camera requires 80Kbps of upstream Internet bandwidth so each service package with 4 cameras requires 320Kbps of upstream Internet bandwidth.
After the initial year, continue with the service on a month-to-month basis for an affordable monthly fee of $28 for 4 cameras. That's $7 per month per camera for the peace of mind of having your important surveillance video backed up. Backup is performed at 1 frame per second.
